Notice. Alphonse Island Resort will be closing on May 5th for resort wide renovations and will not open until futher notice, approximately sometime in 2008. There is a chance they will be running a bonefish camp type operation until the resort is completed but no positive word as of yet.

No doubt you have heard the stories from wide-eyed anglers returning from the heart of the Indian Ocean. For those who have not yet been, the tales, while true, are hard to swallow: steady streams of large, aggressive bonefish flooding pristine flats, huge trevally and barracuda, mysterious schools of super charged milkfish, and bluewater rich with sailfish and wahoo. Often referred to in recent times as the best bone fishing in the world, the only downside to the Seychelles is that once you have fished here you will be forever spoiled.

We highly recommend an emergency evacuation membership for this trip. It costs well over $100,000 to be air lifted to a safe US hospital from many parts of the world. These services will not be covered by general travel insurance or medical insurance. We use GLOBAL RESCUE.
