North Coast Steelhead, Oregon

For the serious winter steelhead fly angler, few areas in the Pacific Northwest offer the variety of waters found in the greater Tillamook Bay area.  Within thirty minutes of your accommodations in Tillamook you may be wading in one of several rivers, stripping line off for your first cast.

Using self-bailing rafts, we safely navigate more than eight different beats on four river systems:  The Nehalem, Wilson, Trask, and Nestucca.  Each of these rivers hosts relatively healthy runs of wild winter and spring steelhead.  Fishing becomes productive in late January and holds steady through April.

Our base of operations on the Oregon coast are less than two hours from Portland and four hours from Seattle.  Anglers fishing for three to five consecutive days will have the opportunity to fish several rivers over the course of their stay, increasing the chances of tying into the wild steelhead of a lifetime.

Your fishing itinerary will be planned based on run timing and river conditions, and will include two to five days of guided fishing, as well as lodging in Tillamook, Manzanita, or Pacific City.

If waiting for the tight line grab amidst an overgrown rainforest setting sounds appealing to you, join us for a week of winter steelhead fishing on the north Oregon coast.
