Back Country Helicopter/Hut Trips, Nelson Region,
South Island, New Zealand
We are happy to be working with Josh Jarvis and his New Zealand partner Nick to offer you some amazing back country helicopter trips into some remote streams and rivers on the South Island of New Zealand.
Their company, Globetrotters, specializes in multi day trips on the hut systems of the Nelson Region. Many of these streams see few anglers a year as reaching them is difficult at best, especially without a helicopter. Base camp is Nick's family's sheep farm where the helicopters are housed and the accommodations for the night of arrival. 
Below is a price for a typical back country trip with Globe Trouters. They offer varied price levels based on number of helicopter fly outs and can customize the number of days you have available to fish while in the area.

Clothing and equipment checklist -- Summer
We highly recommend an emergency evacuation membership for this trip. It costs well over $100,000 to be air lifted to a safe US hospital from many parts of the world. These services will not be covered by general travel insurance or medical insurance. We use GLOBAL RESCUE.
