Lake Sammamish , Washington
Lake Sammamish is just east of Seattle about 15 miles near the town of Issaqua. This lake of 4,897 acres is one of King County's largest lakes and one of the best bass fishing lakes in the state. While this is a busy lake for recreational users of all sorts, during the week, it can be a nice place to get out and stick a few nice bass.
Fish size ranges from about 10-12 oz. to well over 5 pounds for both small and large mouth species. Also in the lake are sea run cutthroat and rainbow trout.
This is a great trip for people who don't have a lot of time while visiting Seattle or for the beginner fly angler who wants to stick a few fish on their first time out.
