My appreciation of the outdoors began as a young girl growing up in southern Oregon. My mom and her friends would take me fishing and hiking during the summers.

It wasn't until highschool and then even more in college when I realized how much being outside affected my moods and personality, I couldn't live without it.

Moving to Colorado in the nineties really established in my mind that I needed to live my life involved in nature, and a big part of that is fly fishing. I am truly passionate about introducing and enabling others to enjoy fly fishing and everything that does and should come with it, conservation, wild life, flora and fauna, photography and history.
